Our Policy

Every ACHALAURA piece is handcrafted with care by artisan hands in Rajasthan and Bengal. Because each item is made slowly, ethically, and uniquely for you, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

We encourage you to:

  • Carefully review our Size Guide before ordering

  • Read each product description thoroughly

  • Check the measurements of your favourite jacket or shirt against our size chart

Please note: Variations in print, colour, and stitch are signatures of the handmade process, not imperfections. These are what make your piece truly one of a kind.


While we don't accept returns for change of mind, your statutory rights are fully protected if something goes wrong with your order. If you receive a faulty or damaged item, or if we’ve sent you the wrong piece, please email us at hello@achalaura.com within 10 days of receiving your order with your order number and clear photos showing the issue. We’ll review it promptly and, if confirmed, arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping costs you paid. Please note that normal wear and tear, misuse, and the natural variations that come with handcrafted textiles (such as slight print misalignment or stitch differences) are not considered faults, they are the signature of the artisan’s hand.

In an era of fast fashion, we choose to do things differently.

  • Every piece is handcrafted, not mass-produced. Each jacket, shirt, and tote is made specifically with intention and care.

  • We work with small artisan communities, our production runs are limited and thoughtful, not wasteful.

  • It's better for the planet, reducing returns reduces unnecessary shipping, packaging, and carbon emissions.

  • It's better for you, our pieces are made to be treasured, not treated as disposable.

We believe in buying with intention. When you choose ACHALAURA, you're choosing quality, heritage, and craft , not impulse consumption.
